We're delighted to announce the launch of blankpages issue 14! Featured in this month's issue are the striking images of artbysara - bold caricatures that cover everything from fairy-tales to 'the man down the street'. We have an interview and music from Mothertrucker - an exciting rock band from Birmingham with a sense of humour as well as a sense of musical adventure and in a first for blankpages, this issue sees the publication of 'short short' fiction by Arthur Chappel.
We also bring you visual art by Christine Morris, poetry by Hollyann Burton, the latest in our series of illustrated stories by Joe Booker, as well as features on Jeremy Deller’s ‘Procession’ down Deansgate as part of the Manchester International Festival, and reviews of a number of up-and-coming bands that have featured at Blank Media Presents... gigs including Ricky Damiani with Laura Capaldi, and Pesticide Organica.
