This is what an informant who was a WAF member told us on November 5, 2009:
"I came across this site somewhat randomly. I live nearby, and the World Art Foundation building is shut down at 1555 E. Imperial Hwy, Brea, California. You can peak through the window and see crap everywhere, including cheap paintings strewn about. The building is pretty small, and is an old, 2-story bank building of no more than about 4,000 square feet. Pretty pathetic for a business that claims to be so successful. Anyone that lives nearby can readily verify what a dilapidated business the 'World Art Foundation' actually is. And the theater they claim to use is an old, run-down, former movie theater across the parking lot."
This is the same story all over again as with the Spas Marengo has started up and then closed, leaving premises abandoned, employees and rent unpaid.
Marengo, his son, daughter and late wife don't have criminal records for nothing anyone can check online.

I just joined the World Art Foundation and paid $200 to be on their website. There are hundreds of artists that are members! the webmaster contacted me and everything and we did the webpage together. This art piece I was supposed to ship directly to the CHALK FARM GALLERY in NM.. That would mean the chalk farm gallery is also in on this? I am supposed to send this in 2 weeks. OH MY GOD I can't believe this!
