I am...

It is a great honour for me to participate in' Internazionale dell’Arte Contemporanea '. I have received an invitation as one of the artists who are asked to participate in an international painting award, from the International Scientific Committee in the next International Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence Italy 2009. This indeed will be a great opportunity for me to exhibit my work outside India and earn repute for Indian Art in the foreign lands.

About my artwork

My paintings attempt to evoke the poetry and excitement of my day-to-day life in India. It seems to me that our world is convulsed in calamities verging on chaos. Yet the song of the bird soars into the sky well above the city’s din, and those are the regions my spirit seeks.

I have admired the works of Franz Kline, Robert Motherwell, Mark Rothko and V.S. Gaitonde.
