College / University: Got accepted into Savannah College of Art, but didn't have the money for tuition. I still have a year to get it though.

I am...: Art4TheHomeless. I am an artist, a painter, a poet, and I was homeless when I was 9, 10, 11, 12, 23, and 25. My life's purpose is to use my art to raise homeless awareness in America

About my artwork: My art has been there when I slept on the streets and protecting my mother, has gotten me on the front page of a newspaper, and has changed throughout my life, and changing me permanently. Art, to me, simply is.

It's how I express myself and it's how I help others.

Artists I like: I am a big fan of Darude, who is a musician. I also love the Mona Lisa and am a fan of Da Vinci

Interests: Painting, writing, web designing, marketing, drawing, just creating whatever I can with what I have

If you wasn't an artist, what other Profession would you do?: I would probably be in forensics, but isn't that the art of evidence? ;)

What exhibitions are good at the moment?: I have art on display in Little 5 Points, Atlanta

Art4TheHomeless to host online fundraiser to raise $$ for becoming nonprofit

Art4TheHomeless wants to become a legal nonprofit organization and needs the money to pay the filing fees of the article of incorporation with the GA Secretary of State and also getting the business lisence.

On August, 28th, 2009 Art4TH will kick off a two week long online fundraiser to raise the money one dollar at a time.

That simply means were accepting donations of $1.00 only!!!! If 100 people donate $1.00 then Art4TH will have enough to take that first step into becoming Non Profit

Hello everyone

I just wanted to apologize for not being on since March. Between balancing work, Art4TH and my mother's life which she may be losing sometime, life has been kinda hectic. I am here now and I hope everyone had a fabulous day :)

Just got in

Just got off work and hopped online :) I have three days in a row off!!! OMG I am so excited. Anyways, just wanted blog here and keep an active page. I want to invite everyone who is reading to check out my ning site and maybe join.
